Our Ethos

With over 20 years of teaching experience, working with children across a huge range of abilities, including a variety of SEND, we are well equipped to meet the needs of your child. We are passionate about creative learning and the positive impact it has on our children in today’s busy and pressurised world.

Our ethos is based on the principles of ‘PACE’ – Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy (Daniel Hughs Ph.D) with group learning designed for children aged from 4 to 14, split into age-appropriate sessions. Learning is tailored for all abilities including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our Group Learning Sessions are led by experienced and highly qualified teachers, including Ryan Hill our Lead Teacher and Creative Learning Consultant. Prior to founding Pumpkin Pie Creative Learning, Ryan won ‘Teacher of the Year in Primary School’ for the whole of the Southwest Region at the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Awards.

Ryan Hill is also a Thrive Licensed Practitioner and offers one-to-one Thrive Assessments and specialist one-to-one tutoring for the emotional development of your child.
